Brand New Yamaha Model AV7 44SG Braviol Intermediate Violin 4 4 Size
This is a RARE 1969 Selmer Signet dreadnought acoustic guitar. Probably one of the rarest guitars on Earth. This is a $1.00 start w/ no reserve!
We think you’ll love this vintage dreadnought in good condition & ready to play! This guitar has seen its share of use and is road worn. There are numerous scratches and dings, but most are into the finish only. There are no apparent cracks or other structural issues. I noticed several pick marks above the sound hole. Frets show moderate wear with action at the 12th around 3/16". This guitar would be perfect for country and bluegrass and is set up accordingly. This is a well-built guitar by a World-class instrument company that made very few guitars. Call (864) 335-9068 for in-hand description. Don't miss this opportunity to own one of the rarest guitars in 6-string history! Will ship in original chipboard case.
The shipping price is for UPS Ground insured for full value to United States addresses only. I will pack this guitar with great care. (Please note: PayPal only.)
Please feel free to ask any questions before bidding! I can be reached at LuckyGuitar.com! And as always... Peace and luck! (:
Just wanted to add that the strap button on the bottom is missing and there are a couple of small unfilled holes in the headstock from the previous tuning machine screws. These are both cosmic in nature and do not effect the "Mojo" of the guitar's inner-self. (:On Jun-28-11 at 18:00:09 PDT, seller added the following information:
This item has generated the most questions that I've ever had on a single Ebay item (by far) including guitars selling in the plus $2,000.00 range. This guitar is at $11.00 and change with 2 days remaining. As Roy Book Binder once said, "god works in mysterious ways". My answers to the most general of these questions, I've made available below. And for questions like, "how much you charge ship to China", I just answer on an individual basis. The purpose of this edit is to make sure that everyone sees my answer regarding the exact vintage of this instrument.
"After further reading and research, I now believe that this guitar was most likely manufactured between 1970 and 1974. I'll post this reply in the auction so all bidders can see it. Thank you for your question. "
If I were a betting man. And I am. I would bet the house that this guitar was made in the early 70's. This will probably be my last edit, so let me close my saying that if this guitar ends under $200.00, I will insert a twenty dollar bill under the strings at the fifth fret as I prepare the guitar for final shipment. And if this guitar ends over $200.00, I will insert a twenty dollar bill under the strings at the fifth fret as I prepare the guitar for final shipment. In other words, expect to find some cash when you open this baby up! My Karma needs a recharge and that seems like a pretty cheap ticket. Good luck bidding and good night!
